John, Talon, and Curtis left this morning for another treatment for Curtis. All the boys were going to go but 4:00 this morning was too early. Curtis has been feeling really good this last couple of weeks. Excited for the intense Maintenance phase to be over.
They are on their way home...They anticipate that during the next couple of weeks he will be neutropenic (which is where he dos not have enough neutrophils (an infection fighting white cell)). They will not at all be surprised if he ends up in the hospital, I am hoping that we can keep him away from that with lemon oil and onguard. I am thankful he has not had to be in the hospital too much.
Sunday John, Ruthie, Curtis, and I went for a ride in the mountains...We had gone up a mountain and when we came out John turned right and had I been by myself I would have turned left to come home. So I asked John if my internal compass was messed up cause I would have gone the other way...he said he thought the other way was the way home but he wasn't sure where we were exactly...Curtis who we thought was asleep in the back seat says Oh GREAT Dad You LOST US. It was a beautiful ride...oh yeah and Curtis spotted more animals than his DAD...He was pretty proud of that.
