Yesterday Curtis had his Clinic appointment...We are always happy that Aunt Hazel takes the time out of her busy schedule to come visit with us.  Curtis was a little grumpy...he complained more than normal, I thought maybe he was just a little more tired than normal...but when we were about ready to leave Kate (his usual and favorite nurse) came in unaccess (? not sure what they call it when they take the needle out!..duh)  his port all of a sudden he sat up, perked up, and was back to his sweet little self.  Normally Kate access his port and gets everything going and Curtis adores her...well she was in a procedure and we were there early because Andy had blue and gold banquet that we didn't want to miss, so they just had another nurse get us started.  I knew how much he adored her, but this was just the sweetest.  I love that he has such sweet and wonderful people to take care of him!  We LOVE the staff at Phoenix Childrens Specialty Clinic in MESA...We have been blessed so much this past years.  When I think of all who have served us and made our burden lighter, I know that the Lord works through his servants here on the earth, and I am thankful!!!

Curtis went to clinic on Thursday.  Everything is looking good.  His numbers are a little low, but he is feeling good and looking great too!  We love and appreciate all of the prayers in his behalf and are thankful for the amazing friends that we have!!!!~!

Today Curtis had an LP.  HE STARTED MAINTENANCE TODAY!  WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!  That means not as intensive treatments and only trips to the valley every month instead of every 10 days!!  Yeah!!!  WE are so proud of Curtis he does so well with all he has to go through.  WE are grateful to those who care for him and the kind people that they are!  Thanks for all of the prayers in his behalf!  OUR FAMILY has been so BLESSED!

Curtis went to clinic yesterday, (September 4, 2012)  It was a pretty quick visit.  His Blood was drawn and the 3rd and his levels were really good (ANC's were 2000).  He had his Chemo and all went well.  Quiet week!!!  WE LOVE IT!!

Curtis had his blood work done last Tuesday. August 21, 2012....His ANCs were 1700.  They jumped so much in a week, we were so happy.  It is amazing how good he is looking right now his color is great and his eyes are perky.  He is starting to grow his cute little hair back.  He just has stubble,  (if you can have stubble on the top of your head not just on your face) but came out of the bathroom the other day brushing his hair, well actually watering it down and then rubbing with his hands, but he called it brushing his hair, it was so cute.  He has been doing really good.  He is so strong, I am so proud of him!  Tuesday, August 23, 2012,  Corrina, Johny, Curtis, and I went to the Valley for his treatments and Johny's follow up appointment.  It was a really long day, but was a great one!  I was able to go see GRANDMA CROSBY while Corrina waited with Curtis, it was so good to see her!  That is the most amazing woman I KNOW!  for sure!!!  Then we went to Mary's house and Corrina and Curtis got to take a break from all the truck for a while...So THANKFUL for Mary being a great person who is willing to share her home with us!  So Doctor CONDI for Johny and everything is great with Johny it looks like he will not have any side effects from the Spinal Meningitis, WHAT A BLESSING!  Again I would like to thank all of you who have been praying in behalf of our family, we feel those prayers, and we know that our Heavenly Father is hearing and answering them!

Curtis did not have any treatments this week, they are waiting for his counts to come up more.
ANCs are 240 and they have to be 750.  Johny is doing great!  Again we thank all of you for your prayers, we know they have been answered.  Johny is showing no side effects from the spinal meningitis we are so blessed!

curtis got to go home today!  He was so excited to be unhooked!  I asked him to stay with me he said no I don't want to be hooked up.....I told him no as a guest...he says no they would hook him up.  Wish I was going home today too, but glad for John and Curtis.  Johny had a really good night last night and today he is doing amazing!  It is good to see him happy and smiling again!  Everything is looking good!  WE ARE SO BLESSED!
